I purchased the headset 10 weeks ago. The first unit lasted 7 weeks, and then the buttons stopped working. Not just a matter of convenience, but you could do nothing to increase the volume from the lowest setting. The replacement headset (took 2 weeks to get) failed in the exact same way one week to the day after receiving it. I am now awaiting my third S9. I'll keep you posted.
