I purchased Boxwave's skin because it seemed to be the only decent skin that would fit over my extended battery. When I first received it, I was quite impressed with the quality of the skin. You slide the Q into it through the opening for the screen, and it fits PERFECTLY. It seemed to be good, my only major problem when using it was that the extra thickness created by the skin made it hard to use the top row of keys, but I guess you'd have that problem with any skin.
What I hated about this thing, was that I read somewhere on BoxWave's site that it would work with the stock belt clip, which I really really liked. Well, when I first put the Q into the clip, it didn't give me that satisfying CLICK that it did without the skin. I thought it might be bad for the slip, since it seemed to bend the clip arms farther out than they should go, but I figured it was OK since BoxWave specifically said it would work. A few weeks of using it, and the skin began to tear where it made contact with the clip. A few days after noticing that, I realized that the clip was PERMANENTLY bent out of shape, so the Q didn't even stay in it anymore, and would just fall out whenever I moved abruptly (which is the absolute worst time to have your cell fall off your hip). Then a week later, the clip just broke.
Now I'm left with a broken clip, a ripped skin, and a $20 hole in my pocket.
I guess if you don't intend on using a clip, then this is probably a good skin, although the quality can't be that good if it ripped so quickly :-
If I could give the Build Quality, Usability, and Value 0s, I would.
