AOL IM for Windows Mobile Beta ReleaseBy: Christopher MeinckJune 23, 2008
It's a long time coming, but AOL has released a beta version of AIM for Windows Mobile. The beta version supports both Windows Mobile Standard and Windows Mobile Professional, with support for the full line of Motorola devices.
AIM for Windows Mobile is a free application. Data charges do apply, so be sure you have an unlimited data plan with your wireless provider. Update your AIM status and information when you're on the go. Change your conversation style, manage your Buddy List, and much more. To download AIM for Windows Mobile, you'll need to provide some personal information, so that AOL can update you when future releases are available. via BoyGeniusReport

Wow, this IS perfect!
Nice way of getting around the Thumbspeed suite for at least ONE of the IM services. Now I can IM without getting socked texting fees. Plus, AIM is the one I use the most anyways. It is a really decent client, and does pretty much everything the desktop version does except link screen names.
