Verizon Moto Q 9m Release Imminent

August 20, 2007
By: Christopher Meinck

While still not official, it appears that Verizon might release the Moto Q 9m this week.

No official confirmation from either Verizon Wireless or Motorola, but leaked documents surfaced throughout the web indicating a release of August 22nd online and through B2B with retail store availability starting the first week of September. The Moto Q 9m is being positioned as a music device. Owners will have a choice of either the standard home screen or the multi-media homescreen. Other improvements include Windows Mobile 6, miniSD support up to 4GB and the new form factor. This is expected to be the first in a string of new Moto Q 9 smartphones. Upon official confirmation, we'll provide complete coverage. You can discuss the Moto Q 9m in our forums.
