How do I install ringtones on my Motorola Q

On the Motorola Q, you can install your own ringtones.

On your PC, do the following:

Open ActiveSync on your PC
Click the Explore button
Double-click the device icon. (My Windows Mobile powered device)
Open the Application Data folder
Open the Sounds folder
Drag the ringtone file from your desktop folder into the into the sounds folder
Disconnect your Moto Q

Now, on your Motorola Q, do the following:

Press Start (Left Soft Key)
Scroll to and Select Settings
Scroll to and Select Sounds
Scroll to Ring tone, and Press the Navigation Key right or left to scroll to the desired ring tone.
Press Done (Left Soft Key)

Congratulations, you've just installed a custom ringtone on your Moto Q.

Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.11

Unfortunately this doesn't seem to work with the Motorola Q 9H from AT&T/Cingular. I have placed the WMA file in: Application DataSounds Storage Card My Ringtones And so far it has not been able to be used by ANY of the sound programs, even with a reboot happening between copying the file and trying to find it!

Mozilla Firefox 2.0.0.11

if your ringtone isn't playing like it should try going to Media Center in the Start Menu, finding your .mp3 or .wav (it must be on the phones main memory, not a SD card), press menus and select set as ringtone. This let me put a whole song as a ring tone, not just some tiny, low kbps, clip.
