How can I remove the alert sound that occurs for unread mail

If you experience a beep every 15 minutes or so, it's most likely the Motorola Q informing you of unread mail.

To remove this notification, do the following:

  • Press left soft button or Start
  • Use the 5-way navigator and access Settings
  • Select option G, More. Repeat this step
  • Select Unread Message Alert to turn off
