How can I browse the contents of my Moto Q from my Mac using Bluetooth

First, you'll need to add the Motorola Q as a device in Bluetooth > Devices. Once the Moto Q and Mac are paired, use the following steps to browse files on the Q.

  • Select Browse device... from the top menu on your Mac
  • From the list of devices, select your Moto Q.
    • Select Moto Q from list of devices
  • You should now see a list of your Motorola Q's files in a "Browsing" window on your Mac. If you are unable to connect, check that you have file exchange checked in the "Sharing" pane of Bluetooth preferences. Bluetooth preferences can be found by accessing your System Preferences from the Apple menu.
    • Browse Moto Q files over Bluetooth
