Out of the box, the Motorola Q does not support syncing with your Macintosh. Thankfully, there is third party software in development that does offer hope on the horizon.
There are two companies that are developing software to enable syncing your Motorola Q with your Mac. Mark/Space, makers of The Missing Sync, have an alpha release of their software The Missing Sync for Windows Mobile that does support Windows Mobile 5 Smartphone (the platform on which the Moto Q runs). If you purchase the previous version, Mark/Space will allow you to use the alpha version of the latest release. At the time of this article, the software was at 2.5b1 and only supports Mac's running the latest version of Tiger. This release supports both USB and Bluetooth syncing. Read our story on how we were able to get the Mac and Motorola Q in sync.
