Default Outlook Vcards and Q contacts

I would like to save a "business vCard" on my Q for when I doen't have a real card on me. I saved my Vcard to my Q contacts but it appears to be mutated by the Q's contacts. How can I save the vCard so it can be emailed as attachment, beamed and sent by bluetooth while keeping the PC Outlook format?

I used to love that palm allowed having a contact set as your business card.
I think it was only for beaming though.
Why not create a comma separated file of just that contact?

That would work however most of the people I deal with would roll their eyes if they have to do anything more than just "save" something. They would vapor lock if they had to Import a file. What seems simple to some can throw others for a loop. I need it to be easy for the other guy.

Thanks for the input though. I may do that anyway, just in case they say they can work with it.

Exclamation Saving VCard on the Q

This might be naive and please no flaming if its off base but why not just save the vcard as a file on your SD card or some directory and when you want to give it out attach it to a message like a regular file and be done with it.

Am I missing something? I just saved one to my Q and then emailed it to my friend, he opened it up at his desk and double clicked it and viola it was in his contacts.

that's a work-a-round for sure Guardian... i guess it was more meant if you are on the go and you want to save a vCard.

Sorry, my bad, I guess I misunderstood. I thought it was meant how to have own vCard ready to go without mutation so you can email to others and they can just click and import. My apologies.

That is so simple it is genius...Perhaps if it is not imported into the mobile outlook/contacts it will keep the data. when I tried to send it from my Q to an email address I lost the mailing address, radio #, company web site and notes. I guess it tosses data that isn't available through the mobile version.
