Default One way syncing.....

I am wondering, is there an easy way for contacts to be synced in only one direction?
For instance. On one machine I want to copy the contacts to one machine and have the phone override the pc. In palm desktop, you can chose the direction you want to sync i.e. phone overrides pc, pc overrides phone, sync all devices.

Is this type of setting available with active sync.
I sync two pc's and last night I had every contact duplicate. No I don't use wireless sync. This is a known bug with wm pro. There is software out there called undupe, but I think its only for pos.

Yeah but its grayed out for some reason.
I am using Vista.
Up.....stupid me. Removed ipod and all is okay.

hey RB, contactfix, neat little app. Anyway to get it to arrange contacts by company. It changed it on my phone which then changed it on my pc. I don't really want to open 300+ contacts and sync up.

BTW I bought the q9m because I couldn't wait for the treo 755p and now that the 755p is available on verizon, I could care less.

been using ContactFix as long as i have the Q, and no i don't know of a way to sort besides from the 2 options in there already.. supposedly -so he mailed me- the developer is going to fix the improper display and also make it run automagicly when a new contact is added, request the different sort option to him.. who knows.
