New Q and ActiveStink

I just got a new Motorola MOTO Q™ music 9mfrom Verizon Wireless. I intalled the Activesync software and driver. It synced just like my old Black Berry. Then I disconnected it, made some changes and resonnected it, says connected, the little green circle spins round and round then it says not connected, no sync now access from Windows Media Player. I uninstalled it reinstalled, worked great the first time, the second time nothing. So I thought maybe I have some legacy apps on my XP Pro box. So i found a clean XP Pro box installed it, snyced one time then nothing. What's the deal? Is there another peice of software that will work like the Blabk Berry Software?
