Default NEED HELP with Calendar

Hello Everyone

Besides Microsoft Outlook---Im looking for a baisc appointment/calender appication to help me schedule appointments on my Q 9m. Could you guys let me know what program I can use? For example: I know the palm pilots come with a calendar program that is used when syncing the PC to the Palm...any FREE applications that do that?...please help.

on the Q you can use papyrus/extreme agenda and i think there are others, other than the default calendar that is already on the device

if your looking for a PC which outlook is you can try google calendar and the google sync app (i forget its name)
but the device works best with outlook in my opinon

I'm not sure if you can find any decent free programs. I use Extreme Agenda and am happy with it. The few issues I have had were answered right away by tech support. I've heard good things about Papyrus, but I have personally never used it.

mozilla offers a few free calender options for your pc but you need a third party sync software called birdiesync wich is not free the only other option would be to sync with google for free then sync google with your free mozilla app but thats not s straight forward

Try Time & Chaos 7 (Chaos Software). It's not free, but it certainly isn't expensive. You need Companion Link (CompanionLink Software, Inc.) to link it to the Q via ActiveSync 4.1 or greater. This is especially good if you use your PC as the "the Bible" -- the place where all updates to your calendar are made by you and staff, and you just use the phone as the copy of what is on PC. You can make it go both ways, which is OK if you work alone. But if you have staff making entries on PC, you're looking for disaster going both ways.

I've started using google calendar as there are a couple free apps to sync the phone with it. I then use gcaldaemon so sync my laptop with google so I have my calendar in sync in three places now.
