I had problems with getting a message to post, sorry about the multiple posts.
Downloaded the tcpmp-0.72rc1-src-vs2008.zip , when opened there are 50 folders in the zip, any idea on which one fixes the movie player for mpg's?

Some are duplicates to existing files that are not a problem.

Question Can't you install .CAB file ON THE PHONE???

How come no one else installs the .cab files directly on the phone? Isn't this easier than copying/synching files? No PC needed. Why am I the only one doing this????

Again, remember I know very little about this phone, but I do know what's easiest for me!

Kinda new to this.

Copied the tcpmp zip to storage card on q and extracted contents. Extracted on my desktop to explore, found exactly 50 files and folders, looked in mpg1 and player files and others, cannot find a cab file to copy over to the Q.
I mst be missing something.

its a cab file
never ever ever ever extract a cab file
move the file to the Q and click on the file to start installation

if for some reason it says .cab.zip then try to remove the .zip file extension leaving only .cab and follow posted instructions above

INSTALL IT DIRECTLY ON THE PHONE! EASIEST METHOD!!!

Pull up your internet. In the address bar, enter everything in this step by step method. It is Rudeboys steps. He helped me do this months ago.

Rudeboys exact steps...
1. download http://mq.roeiboot.com/apps/tcpmp.smartphone.0.72rc1.cab
2. download http://mq.roeiboot.com/apps/FlashVideoBundle.CAB
3. install both (if you install TCPMP on the storage card, you also need to install the FlashVideoBundle there, they need to be either both on the device, or both on the strorage card)
4. power down Q, power up Q.
5. done.

Make sure when you try to view Youtube videos, you are not in the mobile site. Scroll to bottom of page and click on full view (or something like that...)
