you can try installing the ACC codec from here

http://www.scottschrob.com/q/apps.htm

also make sure the file type is selected in associations.

for volume issues make sure the earpiece is turned up (push in scroll wheel until the screen pops up) and also pressing " up " on D-pad when video is playing

What is the file assoc, what is the file to type assoc with?
d pad and rocker have no effect.

is the acc a zip or cab?

Found the cab inside the zip and ran it. No sound. In associations almost all associations are checked

Deleted and reloaded movie, downloaded your reommendations and by golly it is working. Not sure of the exact cause or fix but I think it was a combination of all. Played with advanced settings to fine tune quality.
Don't have a clue what I am doing.
The movies won't play on my notebook but play on the Q, will make trips easier.
