Transfered the video bundle and cab file Sherri directed me to dwnld. went to file mgr and ran the tcpmp cab file. the tgz videobundle says there is no application associated with it.
turned off and restarted the phone.
youtube has never been a problem, the mpg movie will not play.

I must be doing something wrong.

rename the file extension from .tgz to .cab

Changed tgz to cab.
Video bundle says it was designed for a earlier version of windows mobile and may not work properly.
The tc file removes a previous version when installing.
Transfered some avi and asf movies and they will not play either.
3 wmv files preloaded (butterfly, bear and another work great), maybe the q is doomed for only wmv.

those messages are normal....
go in to the options for the program and assign the file associations for those files so they play in tcpmp

when I go to a program and select options it offers confirm before overwriting, confirm before deleting, hide hidden files , hide system files.

I open program files, hignlight TCPMP or Windows media player, go to options and all I get is 4 choices.

Is there another area or step I am missing??
And thanks for the help.

The normal side rocker switch does not work in this mode.
If I go to options, audio, It is set on stero, preamp 25, audio driver is wav output. Equalizer is enabled.
Plugging in ear plugs, no sound.
In advanced I have tried "Use system volume" with no luck.

When I first start core "Player: Audio codec (Windows Media Audio) not supported by the player"

Do you know of any patches??
