I have a Moto Q (Windows Mobile 5) and Microsoft ActiveSync can't seem to detect the phone.
It just stays at the "Connecting" screen.
I've uninstalled ActiveSync and deleted everything and then reinstalled, but it still does the same thing.
Is it because of this?:
My first Moto Q broke but they sent me a new one. I'm currently using the new one. Is there something I have to do extra since it's a brand new phone? (I've already reinstalled ActiveSync after I got the new phone)
Could you post what you did to fix the problem? just in case someone has the same problem in the future (and decides to search). Since there are several ways of fixing most problems new information may be able to help someone else. Thanks!
try to use serial mode instead of rndis, the latter would require network session and thus anti-virus or firewall could cause some problem to the connection.
I have a similar problem, I have a Razr and just upgraded my OS to Windows Vista but it wont detect the phone. I gotta download some mp3s to the phone, anyone have any ideaÉ

Do you have the Vista compatible version of MPT? I know there is a vista version.
