That being the case I set up the VPN with the proxy server address, From The Internet, To Work.

Then when I creata new email setup I have to choose POP or Imap, I didnt think it would be either of those? Is there another way to creat an email account that would work with the VPN? Thanks.

The VPN should drop you on the inside of the proxy server, as for your email account I would try POP3 since most exchange servers allow pop3 access to emails.

Thanks for all of your help, you are definately making this easier. However its not working.

I have my VPN set up with the Proxy server address, Fron The Internet, and To Work

Then I have the email setup as POP with the actual outlook server address.

Either thats not right or its a security issue. It tries to receive and then it says the remote party has disconnected.

You have to use the outside address of the proxy not the inside address. Hopefully you have that. I do have to say that the VPN on the Q is pretty lacking. I have noticed frequent disconnects, so it may be working and just losing the connection. Do you have an internal web page such as an intranet to test and see if the VPN is working?

Yes, we do have an internal page (thats how I get my email now, using that pages Outlook web access) but regardless wanted to get mail in the mail section not just from the browser. Thanks for all your help, I'll keep playing with it but I am confused.

Since you have an internal web page you can visit you should try to access that through Pocket IE to see if you are connecting our not. Then you can tell if it is the VPN not working or Outlook. You will need to change your pocket IE settings to use the work connection and it will sign you into vpn to access the page.
