Verizon Gets the BlackBerry 8830 World Phone

Today isn’t a bad day to be a Verizon customer. It just announced that it would be carrying the new BlackBerry 8830 Cyclone. The new device features CDMA and GSM capabilities, making it functional in both the US and Europe.
The phone features a QVGA screen, microSD and EV-DO. No camera, but don’t know many people who actually takes shots with their phones so that shouldn’t matter too much.
No yet word on pricing or availability.

wow thats pretty cool they are expanding there phone service to allow for europe

This is just new device, not a new service. VZW has another CDMA/GSM they've had for a while.

It is a pretty new device. Wonder how it'll compare with the Q?

I'll admit to it. I like it better. But then, I like the Q9, too.
