What happened to MOL3?

I decided to try to update my phone yesterday.
My phone is running MOL2.
When I attempt to run the update the Motorola software tells me that my phone has the latests software.
Has anyone else run into this issue?

What exactly is this? Is it like a new firmware update or something? Sorry, I'm not too up to par on my Q just yet. How do I tell what version I have? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

yes, it's firmware for the Q.
and as i said here or elsewhere i've been here a while, did quite some reading and never got a concrete answer on how to determine which version you have.

Where would I go to get this update? And, I wonder if this would help with the text messaging issue that I have been having.

Well at least I am still working after attempting the update.
Could be worse.

Post the msu.txt file.. May be i can help.
it should be in c:\Program Files\Motorola\Software Update

oh BTW.. you should only have 4 files in
c:\Program Files\Motorola\Software Update\firmware folder..how many do you have?
