No discount on the basic unlimited plan could be a ploy to get ppl to bite on the unlimited Select and Premium plans (which offer some discount at the family plan level the more lines that are added). As to stupid ppl, no comment . . .

They already said they don't expect many to jump on this plan because its an increase in cost. Power users may benefit, but other plans they offer are alot cheaper.

You're lucky. I've heard alot of ppl (myself included when I was still with Verizon) say they've been told be Verizon that only the primary line qualifies for the NE2 discount.

Everyone is eligible for new every two. Only the main line gets the additional 100.00 off of the NE2 price.

Its 50.00 off of the main line if you don't have a plan 79.99 or higher. If you do, its 100.00 main number.

Yeah, that's what I meant. The primary line gets the nice discount, while the secondaries get the crappy one.
