Default Very Intresting Problem

I just bought a amp'd mobile q and had it switched to verizon. everything worked fine and real easily but now i cannot send & receive pix messaging or the internet. I was on the phone with verizon for a long time trying to get it straitened out but none of their tech's could do it. I did the master reset had them double check the internet was on my account and even tryed updating the software but when i did this it just said it was already to date. Does anyone have any ideas about what i could do. I was told because its an ampd phone theres nothing they can do to change it to pick up verizon's broad ban.

Well, I hae no idea if this would work, but have you updated the phone's ROM to verizon Q's ROM image? If not, try it. Go to moto's website select support for the Q, pick verizon as a carrier, and download the MOL3 (standalone.msu) update to a windows PC and try to update the phone. If (and this is a big IF) it works, reset home and roaming service by dialing *228 option 1 then *228 option 2. Then try and see if the internet works.

I'm frankly rather dubious and expect the rom update to fail, but anything is worth a try.

yeah i already tryed to update the software on the phone and it says the software is already up to date.
