The Buttons started coming loose, and the Hangup / Call buttons began to peel forward a bit. I went to the Verizon Store, they said that they were out of Refurb Q's (Black) and that they could give me a silver one, I said no and spent 30 minutes on the phone with customer service until they finally sent me a refurb via Fedex. Now my 3rd one seems fine, except for the fact that the screen has a little noise and whenever I push down on the right (device) button, I see a little black mark on the screen, kind of like when you push down on a LCD. I don't know if I want to go through the headache of having them send me another. This one should do .. These Q's are great phones when they work. |
Having gone through five Q's myself I have to say that the worst part of having a dysfuctional Q is having to switch to a new one. It is time consuming, a pain to have to retransfer data/contacts/etc., and ultimately a $200+ phone should act up to par.
With that said, you should get your money's worth. As much as switching to a fourth Q sounds unappealing, you should. But make sure it's a brand new one! If you call them and explain how it has inconvenienced you...they will send you a new one. (And make sure they waive the taxes on the new phone because it's like 40 bucks!).
P.S. if you've had your Q for such short time, they shouldn't be sending you refurbs anyway!
