Verizon Price Change!

ok so i have confirmation from a CSR and a friend who works for Verizon. Starting April 19th smartphone data plans will be 29.99!!!!!!!

3 Stipulations:
No Push Email (wireless sync?)
No Tethering
5gig 'soft' Cap

But for 44.99 (what everyone is paying already) you get:
Push Email
Tethering (no longer extra on top of the 44.99 you pay now)
10gig 'soft' Cap

I hope this puts a smile on your face and your wallet. You will most likely have to join up for another 2 years to change your plan but hey...atleast they are now being competative and giving you an option!

If i hear anything else I will be sure to pass it along.

i'll have to see... it's cool though, i don't use push.. hardly tether (not incl. PdaNet, correct ?) and 5Gb is plenty..

Thank you for the heads up! My daughter is up for her "new every 2" on April 29th, so maybe now I'll upgrade her to a smartphone.

yea i dont use push mail/tethering/and never touch 5gig
so i will be doing this...to save 30 bucks a month (2 smartphones)

It's nice that VZW is playing nice and lowering its prices. Not enough for me to come back to VZW from my SERO plan on Sprint, though . . .
