Read the bottom of this page: http://support.vzw.com/features/data...al_access.html

so it's not unlimited. sue me. on a pda it might as well be though. the average consumer has no chance of reaching 5GB on their smartphone.

haha
not going to sue (although tempting)
your link is for broadband access cards (which is for a PC)

yea its pretty tough to hit 5gb on a smartphone but if you tether and stream most of the day you can certainly hit it

the average user...your right they will never hit it

I don't come close to the cap on usage, but I do use the VZW wireless sync for calendar/tasks.

As soon as Dashwire gets their calendar working, I'll think about going down to the $29.99 a month plan.

I don't like to waste money needlessly, but the additional $15.00 is 2 Starbucks Lattes! (I'd rather save the calories and sync wirelessly!)

I was thinking seriously about getting one of those Wireless things VZW has that plugs into the laptop...they "give" you 5 gigs there, also. My worry is that this will not be enough. How can I tell?

I had the air card for a long time and never logged off except at night when asleep and never incured any extra charges. Didn't do much streaming video tho just occasional youtube and such. Now I have a Moto Q9c and it is unlimited internet on the phone and the 5 gigs when tethering and still haven't used that much.
