Default Verizon give you replacement minutes

I was told a by a good friend of mine, who works for Verizon data support. He stated that times in the past with my other phones. Motorola E815 4 replacements, 3 replacements RaZr and now on my second replacement Q. He said that verizon should have given me minutes back on my account, i guess promo minutes. Well it has never happened. He said next time i call with a problem, ask them about it and they should do it, and operantly they roll over. He's a good friend of mine and i don't think he is bullshitting me, Any of you ever heard of this or have gotten it done.

I've been back to verizon several times and received a replacement phone and a replacement headset and no minutes were offered. At this point i'm pretty frustrated with the Q, battery life is totally unpredictable among other problems... sometimes i get 24 hours sometimes i get 6 and they can't seem to figure it out at verizon and nor can I. I might have to go with a different phone haven't decided yet.

never heard of that either, had a couple of phone replaced in the past (not the Q).. it sounds plausible and it won't hurt to ask next time although it does sound that not every customer service rep knows everything, we have proven that with the free 2000 PDA message allowance.

ya i agree, i don't think he is making it up beinga good friend and all, but well worth a try, but the oly thing is the service rep might say we can, but really they can and just don't want to.
