Yup, I'm on the 29.99 plan. I used to be on the 44.95 and that gives you Wireless Sync and the 29.99 does not. My CS rep told me about the version of Oz Mobile email. I currently use it for AOL and Yahoo mail, but I've not messed with it w/gmail yet.

The pop client the Q already has cannot push email by default I believe. At most you can set it for checking every 15min which will kill your battery.

Yes, this is a POP3/IMAP push client (don't confuse SMTP... whole different thread) - I don't believe that you can use it w/exchange. For that you'll need Wireless Sync or something like mail2web and then configure your ActiveSync accordingly. To get Verizon WirelessSync you can not be on the 29.99 plan.

Are you talking about Outlook that is pre-installed on the Q? If so, Outlook is a time based 'Pull' email client application. The Mobile Email by verizon is a 'Push' style and will save considerable battery life.
