Transfering contacts

Wouldn't you have to have both phones active to do the bluetooth sync? When I got my Q my LG V was deactivated right away. Maybe I'm missing something here - I tend to do that.

Yeah, there is no backup assistant on the Q and Verizon told me they could not sync my old address book to the Q because I think at that time (2-3 months ago) they were still waitng on the software to be able to do that.

Now I keep my contacts backed up and synced up using only Yahoo Go as I do not have Outlook. Works perfectly. (Plus it's a cool little app.)

i think you can still use BT even if the phone is not activated anymore...

even if the phone is deactivated you can still use the bluetooth. i also transferred all of my photos that way. however i just went and finally bought a mini sd card today so i wont have to deal with that anymore. and verizon can now transfer numbers into your q. i asked them today when i got the card.
