She said they USED to charge you towards your data plan for PIX messages but they have changed that. Because I was very insistent on making sure Pictures WILL NOT count towards my data plan.

So I'm pretty happy with all that and now lets see what I'm charged BUT I am happy with what she said!!!
So is there any extra fee with "pay as you go" ? Like even a small amount?

I don't think there's an extra fee to be on the pay as you go data plan, but the data prices are pretty high, so you need to make sure you don't accidentally use data for other things.

I think the two are mutually exclusive - if you get a data block, then you won't be on pay as you go. Since the wi-fi card doesn't use a data plan, having a data block won't prevent you from using the card.

I only have unlimited texting but no data plan and the lady at Verizon told me it costs data to log into MSN Messenger, does anyone know more about this?

So if IM'ing uses data..MMS uses data..Thus you need data plans for MMS.

That's the way I'm understanding I just spoke to a VZW rep and she said basically I won't be able to send/receive MMS msgs on my Q without a data plan because MMS uses data. I'll have to retreive send online at vzwpix?

You can find them in lots of places. Google Spectec wifi, and you should be able to find a place to buy one from.
