Sidebar..?

Okay, so what's the deal with Sidebar? It popped up sometime last week I think (maybe a tad sooner) on the start page on my Q9m... I checked it out, it sounds like a damn popup advertising program!! After reading their desc. there doesn't seem to be ansolutely ANY benefit whatsoever unless you want ads popping up while sending text messages, waiting for a call to connect, etc....

So, am I missing something? Why would anyone download and use it??

No, you are not missing anything. It's trash! I downloaded it a few days ago, and a minute after I downloaded it, I deleted it because it kept saying to check back soon for content. Verizon pisses me off sometimes with these faulty and useless applications.
