Default Q9c review for Verizon?

Couple things.lol.

Has anyone used the Q9c yet? I know it's new for Verizon, just curious as to what/if anything is new ( i am still using my old black Q1 or whatever you guys call it.lol)

Are there any big potential upgrades on the horizon or next few months that anyone knows of for the Q? I don't mind the one i have now, works well (even though, it's the 4th one i have had now).

This is more of a terms related question... but a verizon rep had me do something in the past that saved me some bucks. The new Q9c says "100 dollar rebate something or the other about a 29 dollar data package when you get the new phone".... so whats to stop you from calling customer service a week later and being like "oops, i don't need this now"? Last time i got a phone, the girl i was talking to on the phone said "well, if your plan was 59 or more, you get 100 dollars off instead of just 50..... and you don't HAVE to keep that plan".. so i had the 59 dollar plan, and a week later, i had the 39 dollar plan again, and never heard anything more about it

sorry for asking all of these questions as they are probably answered in another thread, but i don't really have time to go chugging around here at work, and i am in class all night.lol

um, the contract?

I don't know if there is a "minimum time" to keep the bigger plan in the contract or if there is a penalty for going backwards on data (i don't think there is) but i already have a data plan so i don't think this helps me

You have to keep the data plan for a minimum of 3 months on verizon or it violates TOS and the 100.00 credit will then be billed to your account, plus the already accumulated data usage, prorated.

for your new every 2 discount which is separate, if you plan is 79.95 or higher on the main line, you qualify for 100.00 credit. 50.00 if your plan is less.
Verizon has their bases covered. You will not come out ahead.

no, because before to get the bigger "new every 2" discount i KNOW i switched to the bigger contract for literally a week, and then changed to the lesser plan due to their "you can change your minutes and stuff how ever you want within your 2 year period" thing, without having a new contract. so i know that's legit, because i have done it. i was wondering if the same was true with the data plan. but i guess it isn't.. they got smart.lol

Yep. min 90 days, so its a wash on the credit.
At least data is now a feature and if you add or remove it, it doesn't extend your contract.

Default sweet

thanks for the heads up. I think i may switch to their "unlimited" plan this month, due to the fact i just checked my bill, and i have sent a "cool" 5200 text messages. yeah. lol. i am paying like 89 something or the other after taxes (after my Best Buy discount of 20%... even though i haven't worked there in almost 2 years. haha)
