Default Q wont start up all the way

So my Q has been running fine since I got it. I did the upgrade to the latest version a week ago, no issues. Tonight i send a txt to a friend of mine working in the same building. 10 minutes later i check to see if he responded and my Q is off. I figure maybe it shut off, its done that once before. I try to turn it on and i get the verizon startup symbol, then it disappears. Then the verizon symbol comes back again (weird I should be seeing the windows mobile screen) it disappears again. And then it pops up a third time and the phone turns off. I dont want to do a master reset, I took out the battery and it did nothing. I dont have a charger with me so i cant hook it up but i will try when i get home. U think I'm gonna end up bringing it to verizon today, I am leaving for vacation tonight and dont really have time for a clean install of all my programs. any ideas??

I thought I would share my ordeal. So I did a hard reset and still the phone would not boot up all the way. I take it to the local verizon to get a replacement and they are all out of black Q's. and so is every other verizon dealer in NYC. I am leaving tonight for Mexico and I need a device to do my work on so i cant wait for the overnight delivery. I suggest they give me a silver and when I return, after they reorder more black, they replace the silver with a black. The manager says no deal, you can get the silver but we wont give you back the black. I have nothing against the silver but I paid for the black and I want what I paid for. They try convining me theres no difference between the two devices except for the color, which I know already but difference to me is the price I paid. I call customer service from there landline and she tries to work out a deal with the manager to no avail. Customer service calls every store in the 5 boroughs and no one has replacement black Q's. Customer service wont allow me to take the silver q and replace it with one of their blacks.

Does this sound wrong to anyone else except me? If the devices are the same why cant I go from black to silver as a temporary replacement. then back to black. According to verizon I can "downgrade" even though its not a downgrade bc there the same, but i cannot upgrade, even though its no an upgrade? Does anyone think a manager would have more power to get this to work?

I forgot to add that the replacement Q would have to use my black Q battery door bc the replacements do not have there own battery cover.

I think the problem is the "temporary" part (you needed a phone asap so you can go on your trip). VZW or anyone doesn't want to run a phone rental service. It's too much of a hassle for anyone to do a rush job to setup your temporary phone, and then come back from your trip, have you return the temporary phone when the new Black Q comes in and have that setup. If they ran this type of service with everyone (setting rental phones), there's no telling how many extra phones could get forgotten / lost / stolen with all the paperwork and having wait for clients to get back from their vacations / business trips / etc to get the temp phone back.

Unfortunately, it's not VZW's responsibility to ensure you have a phone just in time for your trip for a certain period of time. They're only responsibility is to try and replace / repair the phone model you paid for even if you have to wait for the new phone for a few days / weeks.
