Default "Q" Email from Exchange Server Situation

Over the past few months I've noticed that occasionally I was not able to open an email on my "Q" unless I went to the menu and selected "reply". Today I realized that only email originating from the college where I teach, are showing this interesting characteristic. Emails not generated through the server open normally. All my emails come through an Exchange server at school. 'Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'm new to the Q and don't know much about it but I am an Exchange Admin. Is it possible that the mail you're receinving via the Exchange server is digitally signed or encrypted? If not, is there some other, more specific commonality between the e-mails that get "stuck?" Just a thought.

Are the mails formatted in a specific way; I know that sometimes exchange likes to put additional header information on mails as a way of tagging it, maybe that's causing some issues? But it's just odd that you would be able to read the mails once you hit reply despite not being able to actively open them via the inbox; that would infer that the mails are being downloaded in some fashion and that they are complete/whole on your device.

I appreciate both replys. Thanks. 'Not sure what's going on. Just returned from a trip with my family, PC monitor "crapped out" after an update. I ended up checking my email through my wife's iPod Touch and Mailcoaster. Worked perfectly with no issues opening emails. New "Q" on the way from Verizon through the warranty. I'll post an update after I set up the new "Q".
