Please dont flame me or slam me for asking but i was curious why you guys are willing to pay so much more for not truly unlimited internet versus sprint's 15 for unlimited. I know it is at least 50 dollars more, but i am just curious why you chose verizon. Again, dont kill me for asking but i am seriously curious.

where i live it is still the hella slow data too. not the high speed version, but they still want to charge full price for data packages.

Sprint's coverage is pretty inconsistent where I live--it's very spotty. All the 1900mHz carriers seem to be weak in my area.

If you look closely at Sprint's terms, I think you'll find similar restrictions on usage (i.e. absuse of) with Sprint retaining the right to terminate.

Three Words: Coverage. Customer Service. (or is 'Customer Service' considered one word?

You forgot one other option: "Because almost all of my friends and family are on it too (IN-calling)". I'd tick that one in addition to "coverage".

I hear ya on that. I know since switching to sprint, I have SO many friends who have verizon, so i am constantly using txts, and minutes. Stinks i know, but hey its worth it for as little as i am paying.

2 words. Just wanted to share a quote from another thread too:

in my area, it's a no brainer, VZW coverage is consistently better than anything else here.

yeah i pay next to nothing on minutes cause everyone i know has verizon. if i went to sprint i would pay less for data but would need more minutes. it all evens out for me. plus sprints coverage is spotty up here

It's very very commonly underestimated: the value of having a good signal, and making all the calls you want without too much concern for the time used. It's so easy to forget how important that is with all the focus these days on bells and whistles... that is, until your calls start dropping and you dread opening your bill.

My Verizon bill might be high, but it's never full of nasty surprises.
