Ok...so I had to delay a bit.............evil side of me enjoyed it too much.

NOW I'M REALLY FEELIN LAZY...LONG HARD WEEK/DAY....SO THIS IS PRETTY MUCH THE EMAIL A GOT WITH A COUPLE OF REMOVALS TO C.Y.A. MYSELF

Anything in Bold/Red or highlights from myself

Starting this Sunday, wireless users have one more reason to switch to Verizon Wireless. The most customer-friendly carrier in the nation has eliminated the dreaded fear of over-bundle messages. Customers choosing our new pricing get Unlimited Messaging. They can send or receive TXT, PIX, FLIX or IM to or from anyone on any network in the U.S. ¾ as many times as they want. It's included.

Single line America's Choice Select pricing starts at $59.99 for 450 anytime minutes. America's Choice Select Family SharePlans start at $99.99 for 700 anytime minutes. All lines on America's Choice Select pricing receive UNLIMITED:
TXT, PIX, and FLIX messages with Verizon Wireless and non-Verizon Wireless customers in United States, plus Instant Messages and TXT, PIX and FLIX messages sent via email

Messaging is available from within the National Enhanced Services Rate and Coverage Area. Airtime charges apply when sending or receiving picture and video messages. A one- or two-year contract renewal or activation is required.

The no messaging overage charges on America's Choice Select pricing joins the benefits our customers already enjoy, which include:
America’s most reliable wireless network
Unlimited IN Calling to more than 56 million customers anytime
Unlimited Night & Weekend minutes
No domestic Roaming or Long Distance charges
Simplified billing

The new pricing comes just weeks after we introduced Test Drive, an industry first. We are the only carrier to offer a test drive of its network that will credit or refund monthly access and overage if the customer decides to port out within 30 days.

Now as always there will always be someone to complain. Yes, you have to spend a little bit more money....however VZW is 1 of only 2 carriers to offer TRUELY unlimited messaging. T-MO offers it for $14.99....SPRINT only unlimited TEXT....and AT&T offers the same as we already have, mobile-to-mobile with additional to other carriers.

The current messaging plan is still available for those of you that do not need Unlimited, however, if you have 5 lines......now you get unlimited to ANY CARRIER for $30/month. There is a benefit to certain individuals as well as to ALL family plans.

I'll let you all know soon about the other cool stuff I have hear rumoring/coming up soon.

I have known about such new plans for over a week now. Not much to jump up and down about. Just another way for Verizon to get more money out of its customers without adding much value. Great for those that have no life and txt all day but not for US who use the phone and email.

Alright I am a little confused, your more recent post seemed to indicate that you have to renew contract for 1-2 years to get the new plan, I thought your earlier post in this thread told the individual that just renewed for 2 years recently that he would be able to get the new plan. Was I misreading something?

I've seen the ads in the retail store windows today. I've seen the ads online, but I only see the unlimited messaging with America's Choice Select and America's Choice Select Family SharePlan. I do NOT see it with "PDA/Smartphone Voice & Data Choice Bundle".

The only way I can order a Q is if I order "PDA/Smartphone Voice & Data Choice Bundle" and it says nothing about unlimited messaging, just the usual messaging add-ons for $10, $15 and $20 a month respectively.

For example, my plan is "PDA/Smartphone Voice & Data Choice Bundle" Core Choice 450 minutes for $79.99 plus $10 for UNLIMITED IN messaging / 500 out of network.

How would I go about taking advantage of unlimited messaging if we have a Q (with the unlimited data plan)?

Why such a big deal about this plan? We all have motorola Q's most likely with the Core Choice Packages.... You made it seem like something was coming that would benefit us. We are all NOT going to get rid of our Core Choice packages just to jump on a text messaging package without Internet and email. We pay so much for the Core Choice plans, they should give us unlimited texting with it.
