I not only got the 2000 plan with no problems with Verizon, they gave me an additional 20% discount for my federal employee discount. Thanks Verizon.

What kind of plan did you get? Are you talking about the 2000 text message deal?

I already had the family share plan which I was already getting 15% off for the federal employee discount. When I added the data plan, the Verizon rep told me my discount will not apply to the data plan. I called customer service, and they said not only do I get 15% off my family, but I also get 20% off my data. It is two diffrent promo codes. On the 2000 text plan, you can find the info on the Verizon forum. There is alot of info on it. Hopefully this helps you.

All you have to do is show your military id and you get a discount.
