Opera Mini "failed to connect to the internet"

I just installed Esmertec's JBED and opera mini 4 on my q and it runs fine but its telling me it failed to connect to the internet. I tell it "yes" when it asks if it's ok to use the internet and it will cost money but it still doesn't work. I also have a moto q9c (sprint) and it works perfectly there. I'm assuming it's a simple internet settings issue but I'm not sure. Any ideas? Thanks
