    |  On Hold with Verizon Sorry I dont have time to search this one out. CSR says you cant get txt only....on a family plan and adding a Q. This is really irritating my last nerve. She doesnt need data, just txt. Sounds like their are trying to milk me into a higher brackette...grrrr 80 dollars plus a month is just something I am not going to do for data on 2 Q's lol

| Call back and talk to another rep... the next rep will probably know the real deal.  When I was looking for a PDA-like phone w/ an OS, I asked the first Verizon rep if there was such a phone on which I could also play movies on and she told me that there was no such technology at this time!!!!... clueless to say the least, I persisted and called back and the next rep knew her sh*t!!, and thus how I ended up with my Q, .....lovin' it ever since.  |

| Thanks guys! I did manage to get the data blocked and use of unlimited txt like the rest of the family plan on that account. Wasnt easy but now I also saved the numbers in case I need to reprogram another phone lol....oooo I am sure they change them frequently. Any how, thanx for the replies. My daughter now has my silver Q that I did a master reset and am working on emptying the card for her its only 512mb...she needs a new card!
