Pay Per KB

Connect your mobile PDA or Smartphone to your PC with PDA/Smartphone from Verizon Wireless, providing over-the-air synchronization of e-mail, contacts, calendar, and tasks. $0.015/KB or approx. $15/MB. Wireless Sync not included. Voice and other data services will be billed per your digital calling plan. Service available within the NationalAccess or, with certain devices, the BroadbandAccess service area.
Megabyte allowance and charges for kilobytes over the monthly allowance apply to data sessions; all other usage charged in accordance with Calling Plan. Data sessions are rounded to next full kilobyte at end of each billing cycle. Only total of kilobytes transmitted above allowance each billing cycle may appear on bill. You are responsible for all charges, including all data sent and received and "overhead" whether or not you or your recipients actually receive the data. Overhead is all data that is in addition to user-transmitted data, such as control, operational and routing instructions, error-checking characters as well as retransmissions of user-data messages that are received in error. Any unused portion of the megabyte allowance is lost.

Yeah when I had my "billing issues" the rep told me the 1.99 or 2.99 (cant remember which) was for non smart phones and the smartphones PDA rate was $15. Makes sense because the "issue" was for $131 in data usage for something over 8meg when the store salesman told me I was on a data plan.....

I don't think it matters if you have what saved or not, do you really want to put yourself in that position of you vs a 90 billion dollar company? you know what the rep is said is not right, you are just playing with fire heh.

So what, a 90 billion dollar company that steals and cheats every chance it gets all on top of an incredbly high priced bill(more than any of carrier by FAR).
And if you know what your doing you can easily get your moneys worth for anything in your desire. Don't think just because they arae bigger they aer smarter, take your time ask for a customer service manager and your desires should be fullfilled.

either way i just got my bill, was charged 2.99 for data usage... not complaining right now ill post up exactly what my plan is but verizon wont let me view that info right now. we will see were it takes me in the future. and backdown i highly doubt anything huge will happen, if i argue enough that i got billed against what i was told they will give it to me most likley. they want to keep us all customers because they know they are high priced so they will extend themselves a ways to make us happy...er

What I am stating is you know what the proper rate is, you are just going to go based on what a CR told you even though you know it to be incorrect to circumvent the system and get away with something. If so, That is your business, but when you try to screw big companies, they normal are very good at redistributing the cost to you so they are in fact not getting screwed.

Companies have prices and rates for a reason, you can choose to follow them and be with that company, or, a great thing about America is there is competition all over, you can take your business elsewhere if you are not happy with the prices of what company X are asking. Trying to "beat" the system may really hurt the end user in the end.
