Default New Verizon Rates

Just curious if anyone has heard the same? I just talked to a verizon customer care representive, and he told me that verizon is owrking on a new plan for PDA customers in which the unlimited data package will be reduced to around 29.99 a month. He also told me that the more customers that I can get to call and request new plan the quicker it will happen. He said to have other customers request a noticed sent to corporate for request of new plans.

It was talked about before, and they updated the plans for regular hand held phones IE: lg series. They are now looking to upgrade and try to pull more PDA users because they have finely relized that is were the money is at.

Oh I agree I got a $178 bill this month and I didn't even go over my min this month. However if we as verizon customers want to lower plan cost we all have to push them to do it. At least they are thinking about it.

The unlimited data plan is the $44.99 plan used for tethering purposes? Or are you talking about new voice & data plan pricing?

no tethering is NOT included in the unlimted data plan
that is an extra 15 a month from verzion

the OP is talking about the 44.99 price being lowered to 29.99 a month

I was at a store this weekend and they said that they expect the price to drop this quarter, the match the BB rates. I checked the BB rates and there is a 29.99 rate, but it looks like that is only for e-mail. I don't think it includes all data.

They way I understood the representive that I talked to the whole data plan is getting reduced. Because I was talking to him about getting my bill reduced and looking at other plans. The representive himself owned a Q and stated that to his understanding the whole data package is getting reduced to deal with the competion from other carriers.
