I agree with you, I haven't seen my email and data sepersted in my bill. All I ever see is the $45 charge for unlimited usage.

OK I'm confused. The way the CSR explained the pricing to me was that the combo voice & data plan included unlimited browsing from the Q and that the optional data plans was for tethering.

If that's not true then I'm going to have a stroke when I get my bill.

Yes the $44.95 that you are paying on top of the voice plan is for unlimited internet on your Q, and it is $15 more if you want to tether your laptop to your Q.

However, you can just get PDANet and still tetther youlaptop without paying the $15 monthly, PDANet is $34 one time license fee and works great and Verizon hasn't detected anything for several months in my case...

So, what's the point of the $79.99 plan? What is the "data" portion of that plan for?

Basicaaly it is probably a combo plan, so you are getting 450 minutes + unlimited data, correct??

Basic voice plan is 450 minutes for $39.99, so you are getting unlimited data for basically $40. Tethering is still an additional cost AFAIK.

Ohhhhhhhhhh...duh...I thought you guys were saying that if I wanted unlimited Q browsing then that would be an add'l. $45.

For example my plan is 79.99 month for 900 mins and unlimited incalling and free nights and weekends. I add a 10 month for unlimited text/pi/video to anyone in any network, and then 49.99 month for unlimtied data/e-mail. The 49.99 month is the part that they are looking to reduce.

Yep I brought it up.
However, from what I keep hearing this was a deal with BB and verizon. As such, Verizon will not be lowering data. I hope I am wrong.
