Default Mini SD Wifi cards How do they Work?

Hello i have the motorola Q 9m for verizon wireless.
I do not pay for internet and i do not want to..
I heard of something called mini SD Wifi cards, i was just wondering how they worked.. So i put them in my phone and from there what do i do? do i have to pay for internet or does this card supply me with free internet?
Thanks
and please DO NOT POST me a link to the other threads because i looked at the other two (which are all of them) and they do not answer my question, they ask it and it is not answered there.
THANKS!!! =)

not exactly sure what '2' threads you looked at but there are atleast 20

anywho the point of the wifi card is to get the internet from some sort of hot spot which is either free or pay (say like starbucks or something)

this is explained (i think by me) in a few of them

haha ok short and sweet.

Put it in your mini-sd slot.

Download the cab driver from the manufacturers website.

You use it through the Windows Mobile software.

With the wifi card you use internet like you would on a wifi equiped laptop.

That's about it.....

and do i pay for it or is it free like a psp..?
please be clear because if its free ill use it a lot and it you tell me it is free and it is not and i use it a lot.. i really wouldnt like a nasty bill to hit me.
So it there any charges whatsoever in the process of using, installing, or anything else having to do with the chip that ill recieve on my verizon wireless bill?
and just incase you ask, i do not have a data plan at all.
thanks man

I mentioned this in another thread also. Some places charge to access their wireless network (like internet cafes/starbucks). That is all you pay for though. No data charges.

Yeah that's kinda why I said you use it like a wireless laptop because many are familiar with how you use wifi on one.

One other thing though. to keep from accidentally using your carriers data, call them and have a data block on the phone.
