IDK if this has been posted anywhere before but I found this on the web and thought I would post it here. they need to make one for Alltel too, its the EXACT same way. lemme know what you all think

I mostly have great CS from Verizon, but have also on occasion come accross reps that were pretty clueless.... and rather than admit that they don't know something they just blurt out a guess!

The primest example was when I first was interested in getting a phone like my Q.
I had already heard from some of my friends regarding what this great mobile tecnology could do, so.....
First I went online to VerizonWireless.com and chatted online to a tech asking which phones I could use as a video iPod of sorts, a modem for my laptop, and access the full web on the phone itself as well.....she proceeded to list some phones that I know now to be very basic at best, no mention of a smartphone like my Q or a pocket PC..... Why Not?!?! I wonder to this day?????

Then I call to talk to someone in person, and asked the same things and which phone would be best for what I wanted to do with them.
The guy tells me that the current phone technology couldn't play full blown movies, and that I would only be limited to video clips and Vcast!?!?... WTF

Naturally I was bummed and was wondering if I was misinformed by my friends!!.. WTF again..LOL

Fortunately for me another friend showed me his pocket PC with all the frills and I then knew better.
So I called back to ask once again, Well lucky for me I ended up talking to a lady that knew about all this new mobile technology and recommended the Q and that it would only cost me $19 bucks on the NewEveryTwo plan!!!!!!!!! Halleluyah!!!!

And the rest is history! LOL
That's how close mal-informed Verizon Tech-Wannabees came to keeping me from my Q!!!!!!
Boy if they could see my Q now!!!!!!!h

Luckily, one of my good friends works for a Verizon outlet, and he keeps up to date on everything. I've given him so much info about my Q, that he calls me asking questions. I've helped him on sales, and he's helped me on plans and phonoe bills.

To hear the techs on that caall, makes me gald I know someone in the system.

its all about who you know haha.

It just makes me wonder how they are teaching these CS people to handle situations where they don't know the answer to the question being asked. Verizon isn't the only place that has this problem, most big companies do too.
You can't really compare the two, but Microsoft has horrible CS. Thats mostly because they outsource to India tho lol

oh yeah im like that with a lot of my friends around here too. They drag me into all so I can negotiate with the CS ppl and make sure they don't screw them. I'm like an attorney haha
