exchange Q..

no, i do not need my Q exchanged... i was just wondering since i had some previous (Verizon) phones exchanged directly at the store, do they do this with the Q or is it policy to mail it in and wait for them to send you one ?

Usually they send u one in the mail then you use that box to sned the other back. That's what happened for me when something went wrong w/ my phones. Y? is there a problem w/ yours?

the promega port ? promega was a user, and he found and posted a Sprint Wm6.1 ported for Verizon..

RB- I forgot how long you've had you 9c for, but if it's within a certain time period, they will normally let you do an in-store exchange.You'll need the receipt (online or in-store). They did it for me in the past.

I believe they make you call data support now if they don't have the phone in the store. They will mark your account in the store, give you the data support # and then once you call, they can see the notes and ship you a FRu replacement. It should come in a nice little white box, just a phone, no battery or battery backing.

After that, you mail your phone back with the return label in the little white box (pack the little white box into a bigger box) and bam you are done!

well... thanks, i never needed it since the ported 6.1 did not work. never the less, good to know...
