Default data? text? wireless sync

I'm a little confused. Reading about the 2000 free txt plan it sounds like it was offered b/c wireless sync was showing as text charges not data on the Q. I'm using the Q with unlimited data and updated software. I'm using wireless sync for my corporate mail using the PC Monitor on my workstation. Can someone clarify this before I rack a huge bill sending my kids text messages.

Sorry About The All Caps--this Happens A Lot Since The Mol2 Update.

The Free 2000sms Plan Is Specifically Meant For Use With An Exchange Server Using The Autd (always Up To Date) Feature. Wireless Sync Does Not Need It.

As For Texting Your Kids, You Can Use It For That Too, But That's Not The Intent. ;)

So how do I know if this applies to me? Maybe if I have to ask, then it doesn't apply to me. I know that our corporate mail says it is using a Microsoft Exchange Server and it is using Cached Exchange Mode

I'm using the PC Monitor software that Verizon provides to reside on my computer and "monitor" my outlook and perform the wireless sync. What else do I need to know? We get a lot of mail (junk) on the corporate mail and I'm thinking if it is all counted as text messages, it might be easy to hit 2000. I want to be sure about this.
