Default Can't keep a connection streaming? Please please help

So, been trying for several days with multiple forums and I have no idea how to fix this. I have multiple streaming radio stations and sirius radio working for a minute or so but then it loses the connection. How can I configure or load something on the q to get it to stop losing the connect after a minute?

Please please help.

I saw for other phones besides the q you can set the idle connection setting = none. From what I have read and seen in other forum's you can't do that with the Q.

by the way I am using WM5 from geekstoolbox and TCPMP

do you have a EVDO connection or a 1X connection...or does it fluctuate between both...could just be loosing its connection speed

I have tried in different locations and it does the same for a EVDO or 1X connection. The developer said you have to set the connection idle = none but with the Q you can't do that as far as I know. How have others gotten this to work with the Q? Maybe only works with the new version of Verizon software? I am on the MO2.

Maybe VZW is doing it. I suppose it's possible they can break the connection if they detect you are streaming content since it violates the TOS.

I am having the same problem. Times out after exactly 1 minute. How do we go about getting the MO3 update, anyway? I have been on the road for months, and have not been able to check on things like this.

Before you do the upgrade try unchecking wireless sync push or time intervals settings and then try. It worked for me. When done with sirius I go back and turn the settings back on. Kind of a pain but sirius works great and doesn't timeout with wireless sync off . Then you can try the upgrade if that doesn't work.

For the upgrade do a quick search on MO3 there are great instructions. At least there is on http://www.qusers.com/forum/. Basically go to Motorola website using your sync cord and it walks you through it. Then reinstall all that you want, don't forget to call and have your carrier reinstall your services. MAKE SURE TO BACK EVERYTHING UP AS THE UPGRADE ERASES EVERYTHING. Hope this helps.

Where is the Wireless Sync push or time intervals setting located?

Never mind...I'm an idiot. I found it.

Default Same Problem so I called Verizon

I was having the same problem so I called Verizon. The tech rep threatened me with termination. She said that streaming was illegal on the Verizon network, and that there was now a 5 gigabyte limit per month on downloads. This really pissed me off, so I begged her to terminate my contract, so I could go to AT&T and the Iphone. Verizon has no clue as to how their customers want to use the internet. I think they are in for a big surprise when they lose customers to AT&T.

Default Update?

Also I wouldn't be in a hurry to try that update. Who knows what limits they put in that thing.
