Call from 949-286-3311 which claims to be from Verizon Wireless

Verizon does have its corporate headquarters in Irvine, CA so its very possible someone from that division called you from Irvine.

Its possible to be Corporate Verizon, but it'd most likely be either a) the landline portion (unless you don't have verizon then thats done)

or its a seperate company called kipany, they aren't technically verizon but they sell verizon wireless equipment. They give seperate promos than verizon.. basically telemarketer.. they aren't bad or anything (if this is the case) they just try to get people to upgrade.

I just got a call from that number and they wanted all my personal info. I reported to msn as a scam.
