Default Battery Life / Delayed Texts / CPU Usage with q9m.

.. Oh god. xD. That many problems within my first twelve hours.

I have a few questions.

The battery life. About how long does it last? I charged it up to 60-70% before.. And, it lasted four hours. I was in a no service zone (zero bars), sending tons of texts (over 150?). And, two calls, lasting.. 3 minutes, total. Do you think that would kill the battery? And, approx, how long does it last fully charged?

Moving onto Delayed Texts. I was in my house, and i sent like a few text messages to friends (who always respond). No returns. I walk out of the house, and BAM. 12 new text messages. And, there are some .. few minute delays. Is that normal?

CPU Usage. It -always- says I am using 100% of my CPU. When, NOTHING is running. I press kill all, repeatedly. It says 26.5 MB of 51.28 MB used. Is there any way I can raise this?

When I got the phone today.. I got the 1 GB memory chip. Put it in.

Is there anything else I should know? Also. Can I get an extended battery, or something?

Thank you in advance.

Being in a no service area can hurt your battery life because it spends more time searching for a signal. For the few days you have the Q9m I'd say make sure to run the battery all the way down to zero and make sure to charge it back all the way to 100% before using. Some people say you don't have to cycle batteries anymore, but I still think it's a good idea.

Sounds like you don't have any service in your house?

Don't worry about the CPU usuage. As far as the amount of memory it is using that is the built in RAM and there is no way to increase it.

1 - Ahh. That makes sense. I just went all of school on 25% of the battery, and sending tons of texts. And, I'll cycle the battery. (: Just gotta hope it dies sometime tonight. Haha.

2 - It's weird. I was able to send tons of text/picture messages in my house. In fact, I am home, texting with full bars right now. I guess it was just a one time thing..

3 - Ah. Okay. Sounds good. I shall remove task manager from my icons. XD.

Oh, and is there any way to check to see how much data I have used? I have they pay as you go, with blocked data (so I don't get charged). And, A kid wanted to see my phone.. and, He hit the internet. Nothing loaded. The page was white, and it said "login info was incorrect." but, the transfer signals were still on. So, I just want to make sure I am not charged for that..
