Thanks, I have SpriteBackup so I will use that. Should I install MOL3 myself or have Verizon people do it?

i think you can do it just fine
i wouldnt waste your time with them

or you could find the pim.vol file and copy that to your PC or if you use outlook just sync your Q and you will have a copy on your PC

I make sure I have all of the additional programs on my SD card and you can also use Verizon's wireless sync for contacts and calendar info if you're on Verizon. Also make sure you the follow the upgrade instructions to the letter.

Thanks for all the info. But I'm not sure I want to upgrade now after reading about MOL3 and battery life!

Not sure I understand you, MOL3 has not hurt the battery life on my Q at all, MOL2 increased the life significantly, MOL3 may have added even more life, definetely did not decrease it, and it is more stable as well.
