Default Anyone using a Q9c on Verizon?

I'm on Verizon, which means that I had to get the Q9m. Unfortunately I think this phone looks like a teenager's phone, and I use my phone for business. SO, I'm wondering if anyone has purchased a Q9c (Sprint) and had it activated on Verizon (?)...Also, if so, were there any glitches that occured (functions that might have worked on Sprint, but that Verizon couldn't make work, etc.) -
Thanks!
B.

- Didn't Verizon just make a big announcement at the end of the year, saying that they would now allow customers to use phones made for other providers on the Verizon network?

If you go through the verizon business channel, they supposedly have a Q9c (blue/grey, not chrome or red) there, but not sure if they'll sell just one.

Verizon already activates unlocked phones from other CDMA carriers on their network. You'll need to get Verizon's data settings, though. Someone on this forum should be able to post them for you.

The announcement was with respect to phones that are not sold by any carrier. Soon, if Verizon keeps its word, you will be able to go to an electronics store and buy a phone and have Verizon activate it. The way you can with a landline. It's about time.

This is the first I have heard that the Q9c is available on Verzion through any channels. Is this confirmed? If so, any idea when it will be made available through traditional channels?

Thanks

John

look here
http://www.wirefly.com/catalog/veriz.../motorola/q9c/

the description says
Quote:
The 2nd generation Motorola Q9c for Verizon Wireless is a more ergonomic, more potent version than the original MOTO Q, but more business-focused than the Motorola Q9m. Measuring at less than ½” thick, the Motorola Q9c offers Windows Mobile information-rich Today screen theme without the Motorola Media Player UI or VCAST capability. The Motorola Q9c has Windows Mobile 6, stereo streaming Bluetooth, broadband-speed downloads, voice dialing and a full HTML browser to get your work done anywhere.
first i have ever seen of this....

also says...phone not yet available for purchase on the top right of the page
