A dead "Q" and "they" say water damage???

IMHO they make those little dots way to sensitive. Ever have your phone in the bathroom while taking a shower? That can trip the dots. Ever went for a walk during summer in KY? That can trip the dots. Ever had your 2 year old "taste" your phone? Again that can trip the dots.

It is the ease which VZW can claim your phone has been water damaged that makes me insist on keeping insurance on my phone. The really need to come up with a better way of detecting water damage insted of using it as an excuse for every problem that arises with a person's phone.

my dots are turning Pinkish... should i go into Verizon and demand a new phone considering it will prevent them future questioning of why and how they turned red? demand is a bad word... anybody have any ideas?

p.s. i have a friend with the similiar issue of the mysterious "red dots". we live in michigan and the humidity alone it mostly to blame, due to our excessive care of our phones.... thats all

Maybe find a glossy sticker and use a hole punch to make a new sticker. :D
